PROGRAMME & ABSTRACT BOOK CPRN 2022
v It gives me a great pleasure to acknowledge SEAMEO RECSAM as the first appointed secretariat for SEAMEOCentres Policy Research Network (CPRN) Summit for Fiscal Year 2021/2022 to 2022/2023. The main purpose of the CPRN is to enhance the relevance and sharpen the responsiveness of SEAMEO Centres to the needs of education leaders for policy research to address regional human resource development issues in Southeast Asia. There has been significant progress since the launch of SEAMEO CPRN in 2013. Various workshops, symposiums, activities, meetings such as Workshop on the Establishment of SEAMEO Centres Policy Research (CPRN) (2016), SEAMEO CPRN task force meeting (2017), first SEAMEO Centres Policy Research Network (SEAMEO CPRN) taskforce meeting (2018), SEAMEO CPRN Symposium (2019), SEAMEO CPRN Virtual Summit (2021), Policy Brief Capacity Building (2021) and Effectiveness Research (2021) have been conducted to address regional human resource development issues in Southeast Asia to strengthen and expand educational innovations for a technology-driven future. SEAMEO Secretariat will continue to update trends on policy research, share ongoing activities with SEAMEO Centres, and inform the newly consolidated CPRN Action Agenda 2021 – 2023 research projects/programmes in alignment with SEAMEO Strategic Plan (SSP) 2021-2030 in the area of Education, Science, and Culture. I have high hopes that this summit will connect the researchers/ policy makers together in disseminating ideas, and foster better communication and collaboration. I believe that the studies and findings presented during the CPRN Summit will provide a rewarding experience for all attendees. This event serves as a platform for all SEAMEO Centres and the networks/ partners to update trends on policy research, share on-going activities with other Centres, and revisit activities. I would like to express my gratitude to all the working committee members of the SEAMEO Centers Policy Research Network (CPRN) Summit for their tremendous efforts in making the event a reality. Special thanks to all the SEAMEO Centre Directors and presenters, who deserve all the credits for the success. This event would not be feasible without their tireless efforts.
